DESCRIPTION

Hydrafacial Adelaide

Hydrafacial is not just a facial.  This is three steps, thirty minutes and the best skin of your life.

It is essentially a peel, microdermabrasion and a hydrating mask all rolled into one.

Hydrafacial uses the latest technology to cleanse, extract and hydrate your skin like never before. The Hydradacial serums are made from nourishing ingredients that help to create a “hydrated glow”  in just three easy steps.

The secret behind Hydrafacial lies in its unique and patented “Vortex-Fusion” delivery system which can exfoliate, extract and hydrate the skin all at the same time. The spiral design of the treatment tips creates a vortex effect that can easily dislodge dead skin cells and impurities in the skin, while at the same time delivers hydrating serums to the skin.

It is a medical-grade “hydra dermabrasion” device which unlike traditional microdermabrasion devices, gently removes the outer lay of skin and simultaneously infuses the skin with hydrating extracts.  It is a truly relaxing and feel good procedure. It is never painful and most patients describe it as a light massage sensation.

The Benefits

No downtime required

In around thirty minutes of treatment time, Hydrafacial can provide you with a clearer and more radiant skin with virtually no irritation and no downtime.  you can go back to work the same day.  You may have some slight redness after the procedure, however, this resolves quickly and makeup may be applied after the treatment.

Good for sensitive skin

Hydrafacial is great is sensitive skin. Extractions are performed by using vacuum power rather than manual squeezing or lancing of the skin, which means people with sensitive skin can have a deep clean without the inflammation.  No matter what your skin type, Hydrafacial can work for you. Hydrafacial treatments are adaptable to your skin type and condition.

Pain free procedure

Because the liquid is delivered to the skin with every pass of the wand, the tip will be lubricated and glide gently over the skin.  patients often describe the experience as a gentle massage which is enjoyable and relaxing.  Because gentle acids are used during the exfoliation process, patients sometimes experience a slight tingling sensation to the skin.

Younger looking, glowing healthier skin

Expect to go home from your Hydrafacial with a brighter complexion and glowing skin. If you had any blackheads before the treatment they will have vanished without a trace.  You will also notice that any pores and fine lines have been noticeably diminished.

Hydrafacial can be used to address a number of skin concerns, including;

enlarged pore, brown spots, fine lines and wrinkles, skin texture, elasticity and firmness, oily and congested skin

Infusing essential vitamins, moisture and antioxidants into your skin will help to combat early signs of ageing as well as to help your skin be protected from environmental pollution and free radicals.

Consistent Results

No matter where you go to get your Hydrafacial in the world you should achieve the same consistent result. Unlike other facials, Hydrafacial is not as user dependant.  The same process, the same technique and the same ingredients are used no matter where you have the treatment performed.

Customised Treatments

Based on your needs, you can ask your aesthetician to tailor your treatment to address your exact skin conditions.  So whether you have oily acne-prone skin or sun-damaged skin with dark spots, Hydrafacial can be adapted to treat your specific needs so that you achieve the results you want.

What to Expect

HYDRAFACIAL ADELAIDE

Step 1: Cleanse and Peel

Cleanse and peel to uncover a new layer of skin through exfoliation and resurfacing.

This process uses both chemical and mechanical processes to clean and exfoliate using “Active 4” and “Glycal”.

The ingredients in Active 4 are Glocosamine HCL to soften the skin, Lactic Acid to exfoliate and Algae Extract to calm and soothe.  As Active 4 is applied to the skin it loosens the dead skin cells and softens the sebum to aid in extractions, while providing residual hydration.

The ingredients in the Glysal include Glycolic acid to exfoliate, brighten and hydrate. Salycilic acid to soften the sebum and eliminate excess oil in the skin.

HYDRAFACIAL ADELAIDE

Step 2: Extract and Hydrate

Extract and hydrate by removing debris from pores through painless extractions while hydrating the skin.

Beta-HD is used to aid in the extraction process.  The ingredients include Salicyclic acid to exfoliate, honey extract to hydrate and Spiraea Ulmaria extract to calm and soothe. Skin is left clear with a radiant complexion.

HYDRAFACIAL ADELAIDE

Step 3: Fuse and Protect

Fuse and protect by saturating the surface of the skin with antioxidants and peptides to optimise skin health and restore a natural glow.

Antiox+ is used in the last step of the Signature Hydrafacial. It contains deeply moisturising Hyaluronic acid, often referred to as “Liquid Gold”. Antiox+ has soothing elements from Arnica Flower extract and also skin renewing and brightening elements from Miehei Mucor and Red Algae extract to help even skin tone.

This powerful formula naturally detoxifies and protects the skin from environmental free radicals, while replenishing the skins natural hydration and elasticity, revealing a healthy glow.

How it works

Am I suitable for a HydraFacial treatment?

Our HydraFacials are suitable for all skin types, ages and skin concerns, with even the most sensitive skin types easily tolerating the treatment. As the facial is designed to leave a hydrated glow, it is especially beneficial for individuals with significantly dry skin. Individuals with oily skin who are often prone to acne and skin lesions can also hugely benefit from a HydraFacial.

What results should I expect?

You should see immediate visible results following your HydraFacial. Your skin will look rejuvenated, incredibly smooth, and possess an overall healthy dewy glow, visibly improving your skin’s tone and texture. Some individuals find that a HydraFacial is a perfect treatment before a big event or special occasion due to its immediate results and significant complexion enhancement. Your skin’s smoothness and hydration can last for five to seven days, perhaps even longer. It can also be an ongoing monthly treatment to provide continuous improvement in your skin’s appearance, reducing fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, and oily or congested skin.

Is there any aftercare required?

One of the main advantages of this facial is that there is no downtime required. Individuals can resume their day as usual and continue to wear makeup. Their face may appear red or flushed, but this is a normal post-facial reaction.

Our aftercare instructions for a HydraFacial usually include:

  • Avoid picking at your skin. Since your complexion has just had a deep cleanse, some whiteheads or blackheads may appear in the first 24 hours, and you might be tempted to pick or squeeze them, but this can ruin your flawless results.
  • Avoid using alcohol-based toners or exfoliating toners for 24 hours as they can cause dryness and irritation.
  • Do not exercise or work out for 24 hours post-treatment.
  • Only use gentle cleansers for 24 hours.
  • Avoid active skincare products for a few days, including retinol, salicylic acid, and other products with harsh chemicals, which can irritate the skin.
  • Limit prolonged and direct sun exposure for approximately a week, and make sure to use a high SPF sunscreen, as your skin will be sensitive to sunlight.

See our Blog which answers “Why are Hydrafacials so Popular?”

Does a HydraFacial hurt?

There is no pain or discomfort associated with the HydraFacial treatment, and in fact, most patients find the facial incredibly comfortable and relaxing.

How often should I get a HydraFacial?

Our HydraFacial can be a one-time treatment for those who wish to achieve a significant skin enhancement before a big event. It can also be a continued monthly treatment to maintain a healthy, glowing complexion and keep the skin deeply cleansed, preventing skin conditions such as acne from occurring.

How long does the treatment take?

A full-face treatment can take up to 45 minutes to complete, but if it is your first session, expect the treatment to take up to one hour, as consultation is required beforehand to assess your skin concerns.

Is there anyone who is not suitable for a HydraFacial?

Although the treatment is suited for all skin types, some individuals may need to wait until they can receive a HydraFacial. Contraindications for a HydraFacial include individuals who may:

  • Be pregnant or breastfeeding
  • On acne medication (the medication must be stopped six months prior)

  • Have active herpes or cold sores
