Factor 4 is a 100% natural and minimally invasive procedure that stimulates the body’s own cells to improve hair growth and overall hair health. Factor 4 uses naturally occurring growth factors, Interluken IL4 / IGF / EGF to stimulate the hair follicles and encourage new hair growth. This treatment can be used on its own or in conjunction with other hair restoration programs, such as hair loss medications, supplements programs, low-level laser or as part of a hair transplant procedure.
Factor 4 is sourced from your own blood supply. The purification process starts with a blood “harvest” where we remove enough in one sitting to produce serum to supply your needs throughout the treatment program. The blood sample is placed in an incubator for 6 to 9 hours. On completion, the sample is then placed in a centrifuge for 30 minutes and undergoes a specific filtering process.
This process produces a highly concentrated and super-rich serum containing four times more growth factors than normal PRP treatments. Because your own blood is used, there is little to no chance of it causing any infection or of the treatment being rejected by the scalp.
The prepared Factor 4 containing high amounts of growth factors is extracted from the tube and then infused directly into the scalp. Microneedles penetrate into the second layer of the skin, where the hair follicles are pierced, creating thousands of “microchannels”. The skin remains intact and is not damaged therefore promoting constructive regeneration. This activates the proliferative phase of the hair cycle, rejuvenating dormant follicles, resulting in new hair growth that is thicker than the existing.
